Dies At Age 71, C. C. TAYLOR Stricken While Walking in Central Park. Charles O. TAYLOR, 71, a Mansfield carpenter for many years, died Friday afternoon of a heart attack, suffered while walking through Central park with his daughter-in-law, Mrs. John R. TAYLOR, 328 Prescott street. He was taken to General hospital immediately but was dead on arrival. Mr. TAYLOR resided with his son and daughter-in-law.
He was born in Richland county Dec. 23, 1870, and had been a resident of this vicinity all his life. His wife, Lucretia YOHA TAYLOR, preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas A. REEDER, and Mrs. Charles BOOKWALTER, both of Mansfield; five sons, Thomas and Roy, of Ontario; George, John and Harland, of this city; 19 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ada BENNINGHOFF and Mrs. Maude HOOVER, of Mansfield, and Mrs. Foster C. DISE, of Akron, and two brothers, Thomas E. TAYLOR, and Glenn TAYLOR, both of Mansfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Finefrock funeral home Monday at 1:30 p. m. by Rev. Grover E. SWOYER. Burial will be in Ontario cemetery.
